What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo. We store this to identify your account and associate it with your properties.
Property guides you create are stored in our systems and used solely to power the AI chatbot for your guests.
Guest chat messages are stored to provide chat history. Guests are identified by a name they enter and a device token stored in their browser — no account or email required.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To power the AI chatbot that answers your guests' questions
- To show you analytics about guest interactions
- To respond to support requests you send us
We do not sell your data. We do not use your property content or guest conversations for AI training.
Third-party services
StayBot uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase — authentication
- Google Cloud Firestore — database
- Google Cloud Storage — property guide storage
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI responses
Data retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us. Guest chat data is retained for 90 days after a trip closes.
